About Attorney Colin E. Flora
I was born and raised on a small family farm as the son of two high school math teachers. I had the great fortune of growing up next door to my grandparents. My grandfather taught me the meaning and rewards of a hard day's work. I used those lessons to excel both academically and personally resulting in the great honor of being named in the inaugural class of Indiana University’s Herbert Presidential Scholars. While in undergrad, I was fortunate enough to be granted the opportunity to work as a research assistant for Professor David C.W. Parker which gave me the opportunity to develop my research skills, co-author an academic paper, and present that paper at the 2007 Annual Meeting of the Midwest Political Science Association. After completing my undergraduate degree a year early, I enrolled in Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law where I graduated with honors. While in law school I gained experience at the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office and at Cohen & Malad, LLP. I now have the great pleasure of working with one of the finest attorneys I have had the pleasure of knowing in Eric Pavlack as I continue to enjoy the rewards of a hard day’s work. I currently focus my practice on civil litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants. This ranges from personal injury to class actions and other complex litigation matters. At the heart of my practice is focusing on providing the best services to my clients that are possible. I pride myself on my ability to tackle even the most complex legal matters. I have dealt with such complex issues as federal preemption doctrine in the realm of medical devices as well as the issue of certifying multi-state class action cases.
